I’ve got a feeling that Tracy Reese is having a pretty ah-mazing week. First she gives our First Lady, Michelle Obama, one of her best custom-made frocks for the Democratic National Convention, and then she ends her week showing a cheerful and energetic Spring Collection for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

Keeping up with what seems to be the theme of Spring 2013, Reese plays with the juxtapositions of textures and fabrics. Pairing organic with technical, soft with structured, sporty with feminine, and tribal with romantic. A super cute relaxed, modern sportswear for the girl who loves comfort without compromising her style.

Tracy Reese is famous for her phenomenal dresses but they were overshadowed by funky moto jackets, silk trousers, and floral embroidered button-downs. I simply fell in love with the stylist of this show. If you’re a girl like me, you’ll create a hi-lo look pairing a Tracy Reese jacket with your favorite Target mini skirt.
