Oprah Interviews Rihanna In Barbados

The minute Rihanna and Oprah posted photos together on Instagram, I was poised and ready to see this interview from start to finish. On “Oprah’s Next Chapter,” they daytime talk show mogul has this way of going beyond what we all already know about the star she’s interviewing and brings us interview gold.

Rihanna’s appearance on the in-depth interview show takes us back home with her in Barbados and Oprah asks the “Talk That Talk” singer everything–yes, even the obligatory Chris Brown question. Rihanna is seen in the promo below shedding tears and lamenting that she, “hates this part.”

Oprah admitted that she went into the interview with her own thoughts of Rihanna as a “Bad*ass, a hard-edged, rocker, pop woman…” but her expectations were exceeded. Oprah now labels Rihanna as “thoughtful, very emotional, vulnerable” and “she pushes the edge.”
