Trayvon Martin's Parents Are Prepared For George Zimmerman's Exoneration
Trayvon Martin’s Parents Are Prepared If Zimmerman Is Exonerated
The parents of Trayvon Martin–the unarmed teen shot and killed by self-proclaimed neighborhood watch captain, George Zimmerman are prepared for whatever happens in the verdict of their son’s murder trial. Trayvon’s mom, Sybrina Fulton says that she’s mentally prepared to handle whatever verdict or sentence is handed down to the shooter, even an exoneration.

I’d assume after having their son’s death become such a sensational story in the U.S., Trayvon’s parents are used to the attention, but it doesn’t dull the pain. It must take a lot of heart to see their son’s killer smile during interviews, lie to the judge, but still receive a bond and even receive love, money and support from various followers.
According to Huffington Post, Fulton made this statement shortly after a town hall on violence and racial healing in Cincinnati. Martin and Fulton spoke bravely about their son’s death and how they can prevent similar shootings.

Even though we all know in our hearts what Zimmerman’s fate should be, there is a possibility that he could be exonerated. I’m glad that Trayvon’s parents understand this so there’s no more heartbreak in case that is what happens. I’m praying for Justice For Trayvon!
