The pressure is on. Kim and her staff has just been selected by Mikki Taylor, beauty editor for Essence magazine, to create a high fashion look for fashion designer Kevan Hall’s fall collection. Normally, this task would be a piece of cake for Kim and her staff but the only problem is that they have ONE DAY to pull this off! And with the drama that’s been going down in the salon lately, Kim is a little nervous that they won’t be able to do it. On top of that, Kevan Hall is pressuring Kim and the team to finish the models’ hair in time for the photo shoot, and she doesn’t want to let him down, let alone destroy her good name in the fashion world.

When Mikki tells Kim and her team to completely re-do one of the model’s hair styles, Kim scrambles to fix it to Mikki’s liking. Finally, she’s able to pull it off, and the model’s hair is fabulous! Kevan Hall loves the look, and Kim’s reputation is saved, and she even gets a few extra brownie points.
