That is the premise of Cedric The Entertainer’s new TV Land sitcom, “The Soul Man.” Created by Suzanne Martin and Cedric the Entertainer, the series is a spin-off of Hot in Cleveland, the popular show starring Betty White, Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick.
Cedric guest starred in the 2011 episode “Bridezelka”, as Reverend Boyce Ballantine and now has his very own show. Watch the first episode above and let us know what you think of “The Soul Man.”
