Mary J. Blige Goes From Crispy Chicken To Reality TV?!
After Mary J. Blige’s Crispy Chicken Scandal, she’s welcoming reality show cameras into her life so that we can see she’s not all about angering black people with her stereotypically offensive commercials. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul is getting her own American Idol-like show, called Opening Act.

American Idol executive, Nigel Lythgoe and Rock Mafia Records founder, Ms. Armato have teamed up to bring E! network a talent show that will follow Blige as she finds talented acts online and give them the opportunity to open up for an act that’s on her level. Blige will surprise the unsuspecting performers and will oversee their progression to the point at which they are ready to open up for the A-List acts like Nicki Minaj–who has already signed up for the show.
