NY Giants wide receiver and resident hottie, Victor Cruz helped bring the Giants to a Super Bowl XLVI victory with a record-setting touchdown. Then he salsa danced his way into most of our hearts. The handsome NFL baller boasts some pretty amazing stats (82 catches, 1,536 yards and nine touchdowns) from this past season, but now that the season’s over, Cruz is traveling is a different lane to make money.
IMG Worldwide snatched up the Cruz and his chiseled good looks for a “fashion strategy” deal. Considering Cruz only made $490,000 during last year’s season–which is a good amount of money–but it does make him one of the lowest paid players in the league. So it seems Cruz’ fashionable endorsements will earn him more than the blood, sweat and tears on the field did. What an interesting point to consider for professional athletes.
