Kelly Rowland To Reunite With Her Father On Christmas Day!
Kelly Rowland has announced that she’s ready to reunite with her estranged father this Christmas. The “Lay It On Me” singer’s father told a British tabloid that he was trying to get in touch with her for the first time in 23 years. It’s taken Kelly a few months but she’s finally ready to see him again and has chosen Christmas Day as the date for their reunion.
Kelly said:
“It’s really important just to forgive my father. I want to meet him this Christmas, because now is the time, because tomorrow’s not promised to us.”
“I think it’s important to forgive people and we move on, we have to. The pain is there, of course it will be there, and it’s important to know that forgiveness is the first step towards healing it all.”
Now if we could only have a Destiny’s Child reunion, we’d be good for the rest of the year!
