DJ Scratch tweeted “Erick Sermon had a heart attack today. He’s ok, but still send your prayers. He is not on Twitter.
This comes after the death of Hip Hop legend, Heavy D and legendary boxer, Smokin’ Joe Frazier.
Rapper, Rick Ross recently suffered from two seizures.
“Sermon, aka The Green Eyed Bandit, is best known for recording and performing as EPMD with his partner Parrish Smith, but has been a musical force in hip-hop and R&B for many years. He scored a Top 40 hit in 2000 as a solo artist with the Marvin Gaye featured “Music.”
