"Basketball Wives" Evelyn Lozada Nabs Book & Movie Deal With Lil Wayne's Label
“Basketball Wives” Evelyn Lozada Lands Book & Movie Deal With Lil Wayne’s Label
Evelyn Lozada has signed a six-figure deal with Lil Wayne’s Cash Money Records’ literary division titled Cash Money Content. The book series to be co-authored by novelist and former Law & Order: Criminal Intent writer Courtney Parker, will be loosely based on Lozada’s life, using the alter ego Eve Inez-Landon to fictionalize the true stories she has learned from years of dating professional athletes.
How does she run in those heels?
Evelyn said:
“By partnering with Baby and Cash Money Content, we have the potential to turn these ‘novels’ into a full-fledged brand.” Everything Baby and CMC touches turns to gold, and our brands together will be magical.”
“The stories that you hear—what goes on in these relationships, and just being in that circle—I decided to let everyone experience a piece of it for themselves by writing this series of juicy novels.”
And if you’re wondering if Evelyn will be back on “Basketball Wives: Miami” Season 4, she started taping yesterday.
Congrats Ev, get your hustle on!
