Azealia Banks’ Alleged Altercation With Russell Crowe

Rapper Azealia Banks has gained notoriety for her Twitter rants over her music, as of late. But now, it looks like the 25-year-old lyricist may have an all-new troubling drama on her hands.
Azealia took to Facebook last night to describe an altercation that allegedly transpired between her and actor Russell Crowe.
E! grabbed the statement from her post before it was deleted:
“To recap my night, I went to a [party] at Russell crowes suite, at which he called me a n—-r, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” she described. “Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time.”
“The men in the room allowed it to happen,” she continued. “I feel terrible today.” A few hours later, Banks added another comment. “I have receipts. Stay tuned.”
According to TMZ, eyewitnesses on the scene claim Crowe invited 10 people over for a dinner party–including rapper RZA who brought Azealia as a guest.
During the party, a source says that Banks laughed at Crowe’s music calling him and another attendee ‘boring, white men.’
When a witness tried to defend Crowe, Banks reportedly clapped back saying “You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s–t” and allegedly added a few racial slurs.
Banks then reportedly made a move as if to use her glass as a weapon, and the actor grabbed her up and carried her out before security came to remove her from the premises.
Of course, there are two sides to every story. We will see if Crowe speaks out on the altercation.
