In an unexpected meeting of minds, singer Mary J. Blige sat down with Hillary Clinton to discuss police brutality through song.

The Democratic presidential nominee listened to Mary sing about the complexities of being Black in America, especially when it comes to interactions with our law enforcement.

The encounter will go live on September 30 on Apple Music’s show The 411.

Not going to lie, this seems a little like Black vote bait … but we’re going to watch anyway:
