Eddie Murphy Makes His Return To The Big Screen, But Like You’ve Never Seen Him Before
Fans have been waiting for years for Eddie Murphy to return to his throne as the true king of comedy.
The legendary comedian is back in a dramatic trailer for the Bruce Beresford directed film Mr. Church. The movie, which marks Eddie’s first leading role in four years, centers on the relationship between expert chef Henry Joseph Church (Eddie) and young Charlotte, whose ailing mother hires Church as a makeshift babysitter.
According to reports, Eddie is also set to play Richard Pryor‘s father, LeRoy “Buck Carter” Pryor, in an upcoming biopic of the late comedian, also starring Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson, and Mike Epps.
