If winning the championship wasn’t enough, Cleveland CavaliersĀ coach Tyronn LueĀ has even more to celebrate.
Shortly after winning the title in a close game to the Golden State Warriors, President Barack ObamaĀ tweeted out a congratulatory message:
The real icing on the cake came several days later when the commander in chief personally reached out to the Cavaliers’ head coach on Thursday, June 23. During their brief chat, Obama invited the Cavs to visit the White House before he leaves office.
Before hanging up, Obama jokingly urged Lue to tell J.R. Smith and several other players to stop parading around the city of Cleveland, Ohio, shirtless. Watch their hilarious discourse below:
