You thought Beyoncé couldn’t get any more WOKE than “negro nose with Jackson 5 nostrils?” Well, you’re wrong.
After her Blackest week ever, we felt it was important to remind people that Beyoncé isn’t new to this. It really doesn’t get much Blacker than singing Mahalia Jackson’s staple, surrounded by brothers with their hands up.
In 2015, following her inspirational performance of “Precious Lord, Take My Hand,” the singer posted an 8-minute mini-documentary, celebrating Black men and raising awareness about what it means to be a Black man in the United States.
The stunning black and white video has Beyoncé soulfully belting out the vocals like it’s First Sunday at King Bey Tabernacle.
If you’ve been backsliding, Beyoncé will being you straight back to the altar with this one, Beauties!
Watch below:
One lucky New York Times writer received a bouquet of thanks from Beyoncé for her op-ed on “Formation.”
Is there anything cooler than a “Thank You” from the queen herself? Nope…don’t think so.

LL Cool J appeared on the PBS series “Finding Your Roots,” where the rapper made a shocking discovery, Vibe reports.
The 48-year-old, who was raised by his grandparents, wanted to dig into his ancestry to find out his family’s journey from freedom to slavery.
This is so fitting for #blackhistorymonth.
During the research process, he found out that the woman, who he thought was his maternal mother, was actually adopted by his grandparents.
“This doesn’t change how I feel about the people that raised me,” the NCIS: Los Angeles actor said of his family.
“I have more love and respect for them than I ever did.”
The episode will air on February 16th, right before the “Walk Of Fame” inductee hosts the Grammy Awards.

NeNe Leakes is reportedly causing a stir in her new “Fashion Police” role.
Radar Online reports there is a “huge power struggle going on” between NeNe and some of her cast mates.
The show has been seeing an up tick in ratings lately, and Leakes allegedly credits the boost to her own star power.
“NeNe has really just been trying to steal the spotlight lately and because she has such a strong personality, it is making filming really difficult,” said the source.
One source of tension is Giuliana Rancic, who reportedly hasn’t quite figured out how to balance Nene’s larger than life persona.
“Giuliana has been there since the beginning and Melissa actually told her recently that she has nothing to worry about right now. But that they really need to figure out how she can become more comfortable in NeNe and Margaret’s presence,” the insider told Radar.
Since Giuliana is the OG, if she’s not feeling NeNe, we’re not sure the Fashion Police is going to feel her much longer either, despite ratings.
