Solange Blasts Music Critic On Twitter: ‘Don’t You Ever Dare Speak That 6 Letter Name’

Solange is no stranger to voicing her opinions especially on the open forum that is Twitter. Last night, the fashion icon unleashed a rapid fire of tweets that touched on everything from the music industry to race. The songstress also didn’t hesitate to clapback at New York Times music critic Jon Caramanica, schooling the writer on the do’s and don’ts of talking to Black women.
Back in 2013, Solange suggested that music blogs “could actually benefit from hiring people who REALLY understand the culture of R&B to write about R&B.” According to Stereogum, Carmancia responded by saying that Solange should not bite the hand that feeds her.
