CBS Orders ‘Training Day’ Pilot, But There’s One Big Twist

Training Day (minus Denzel Washington) is coming to a TV screen near you.
According to Entertainment Weekly, CBS ordered the pilot that picks up 15 years after the film was released. Director Antoine Fuqua is at the helms of the reimagining, bring to life a script by former LAPD detective Will Beall.
Unlike the original Training Day, the main roles are reversed and the young officer-in-training is Black while his veteran and snaky partner is White.
