Fans can now breathe a deep sigh of relief. Janet Jackson does not have cancer.
The Jackson camp broke its silence on her health condition to clear the air:
The ‘Unbreakable’ singer took to her Twitter page to settle rumors that her emergency surgery was caused by a cancerous lump in her throat.
She embedded the message within a lyrical music video for the song’The Great Forever’ from her album, following a tweet reading “From my own lips….”
The post read:
Remember…believe it when you hear it from my lips.
The rumors are untrue.
I do not have cancer. I’m recovering. My doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.Â
Thank you for your prayers and love.Â
Yas! The show WILL go on!
