The trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence was released, and we’re wondering, where’s Will Smith?
Well it looks like we may have found the answer.
The story leaves off with Jeff Goldblum’s character being named the Director of Earth Space Defense after the intergalactic war of 1996.
In the plot, Colonel Steven Hiller (Big Willie) was killed while testing the world’s first alien hybrid fighter, according to the movie’s viral marketing site. Wamp wamp.
His son, Dylan (Jessie Usher) will pick up his father’s courage and join the new fight.
The star-studded cast also includes Liam Hemsworth & Vivica A. Fox, reprising her role.
