Take a first look at Patti Labelle‘s cooking special where she reunites with James Wright Chanel, who made her sweet potato pies go viral.
As you can imagine, Patti’s accidental hype man is delivering the same outrageous PATTI yells that had us rolling on the floor laughing.
We aren’t the only ones cracking up. The singer can’t even keep herself together when James takes a bite of her pie and starts singing her praises.
The duo has been getting along so well, with LaBelle describing her partner in pies as a “larger than life person.’
The episode will air Dec. 16 8:30 EST on the Cooking Channel.

Fans were shocked to hear that Nicki Minaj’s brother was released on a $100k bond for allegedly raping a twelve-year old.
Now more details in the case are being revealed.
Jelani Maraj appeared in court yesterday for a hearing.
Daily News reports that Maraj had been abusing the girl for months, with the last incident occurring November 30th–the day of his arrest.
“…From about April 1, 2015 until November 30, 2015, the defendant, Jelani Maraj, engaged in a course of sexual conduct against a child,” Maraj’s heavily redacted felony complaint states.“He engaged in these acts with the victim, while knowing (she) was less than 13 years old.”
If the timeline is true, that means the assault was happening before and after his recent marriage.
