As we reported earlier, Chris Rock is caught up in a strange adoption controversy concerning the child he raised, Ntombi.
Now, TMZ reports that in divorce documents, Malaak, Chris’s ex-wife, is seeking financial support for the child.
Allegedly, when Chris filed his divorce petition, he only mentioned Zahra and Lola, his two biological daughters.
To be clear, the child was never legally adopted by Chris or Malaak, but lived in the US under a visitor’s visa under their care.
This is super complicated. On one hand, it’s like, the child has been in their home and that’s the only child she knows. On the other hand, he has no legal responsibility. But there is such thing as a moral responsibility. We will see how this plays out.

Kobe Bryant Opens Up About Why He Retired
Kobe Bryant shocked the sports world when he announced his retirement.
Now he’s opening up about what brought him to the decision.
In an exclusive interview with ABC’s Robin Robert’s, he explained to her his decision to retire.
“I try to have at least 15 minutes of still time and just kind of sit in my thoughts in the morning and just kind of meditate,” he said. “And normally what happens with me is my mind would always drift to the game. Always.”
But his mental space has changed, as years of dominating on the court started to drift from his consciousness.
“I found myself sitting there. My mind wouldn’t drift towards the game all the time anymore,” the father of two said. “And that’s when I started realizing. ‘You know what? It’s getting close. It’s getting close.’ Because now, I’m not obsessively thinking about the game anymore. It’s not wired into my subconscious the way it used to be.”
The legacy Kobe is leaving behind is nothing to sneeze at. Fans of the game are definitely indebted to him for the excellence and dedication he brought to every play. #TeamBeautiful says cheers to him for knowing when it’s time to hang up the jersey.

Chris Brown canceled his Australia and New Zealand tour, allegedly due to visa approval issues sparked by his history of domestic violence case against Rihanna.
The promoter is hoping they will be able to reschedule the tour at another date, but for now, the ticket buyers will be refunded.
As much as we stand against any type of violence against women, does this mean Australia and New Zealand will deny anyone accused of domestic violence from travel and work in their country?
If that is their policy, it should be one implemented in every case, not just in the situation of a well-known entertainer and his conflict with a beloved superstar.
In other Chris news, the singer apparently penned a love song for ex-girlfriend Karreuche on his new album:
