This is beyond ridiculous, and I’m tired of reporting about stuff like this, but yes, it has happened again. Police killed an unarmed Black man in St. Louis right around the anniversary of the killing of Mike Brown in nearby Ferguson, and a year after police killed 25-year-old Kajieme Powell, also in St. Louis.
Via Huffington Post:
On Wednesday morning, a year after police killed 25-year-old Kajeme Powell, authorities executing the warrant were met by two men attempting to flee the home, according to Fox 2 Now. Chief Sam Dotson with the St. Louis Police Department said officers ordered both armed men to drop their weapons. Dotson said one of the suspects raised his weapon and was shot.
One of the men was alleged to have pointed a gun at the officers.
Right…while running away. Mmkay.
