President Obama will be doing his final interview on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart as the host on Tuesday. Stewart announced back in the spring that his final episode as host will air on August 6.
That is pretty much in two weeks! This will be Obama’s third appearance since taking office, but his seventh overall appearance on the show, announced Comedy Central. While this will be the Obama’s last appearance on the show with Jon Stewart, this doesn’t mean that the pres will never appear on the show again.
South African comedian Trevor Noah takes Stewart’s spot starting in September. Noah, who is currently a correspondent, has some big shoes to fill, but we’re pretty sure he’ll be fine.
As far as the president, he has quite a lot to talk about from his historic federal prison visit to next year’s impending election, and much more.
