Bill Cosby Admitted To Drugging A Woman In 2005

By now you know that more than two dozen women have come forward alleging that Bill Cosby has drugged and/or raped them. Among some of those who accused Cosby were Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickinson. However, those claims are still disputable, but not out of the question since a recent report from AP surfaced Monday showing that Bill Cosby admitted to drugging a woman back in 2005.
Via AP:
Bill Cosby testified in 2005 that he got Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to young women he wanted to have sex with, and he admitted giving the sedative to at least one woman and “other people,” according to documents obtained Monday by The Associated Press.
The AP had gone to court to compel the release of the documents; Cosby’s lawyers had objected on the grounds that it would embarrass their client.
In the case mentioned above, Cosby, 77, testified under oath in a lawsuit filed by a former Temple University employee. He admitted that he gave her three half-pills of Benadryl. That sexual-abuse lawsuit was settled in 2006 for an undisclosed amount.
Cosby has not been criminally charged in the cases of alleged sexual misconduct that followed. Many of them were barred by statutes of limitations (some women have alleged Cosby assaulted them as far back as the 70s).
Cosby resigned in December from Temple’s board of trustees, which is terrible given the circumstances of the lawsuit.
I know there are a lot of people still holding on to that whole “innocent until proven guilty” mantra, but it’s safe to correctly assume that the man is a predator. He’s not your actual dad so let that Cosby Show image of him go and embrace the unpleasant possibility that people aren’t always who they lead everyone to believe.
