J. Cole Honors 2-Year Promise To Attend His Biggest Fan’s Graduation

Add J. Cole to the list of rappers making positive moves. He made one lucky young woman very, very happy by honoring a promise he made two years ago, to attend her high school graduation. This story began back in 2013, when Cierra Bosarge, a Washington Township High School student, wrote Cole a letter asking if he would attend her graduation. Cole responded saying that he would as long as she had been accepted into a four-year college by then.

Bosarge didn’t take that promise lightly and made sure she stayed on top of her grades. There were even moments where she checked in with J. Cole to let him know that she was doing well. And finally, her wish was granted!

The aspiring journalist recently graduated, and she got excepted into four schools. J. Cole, who is on tour and preparing for his impending wedding, actually rearranged some tour dates to make sure he didn’t miss Bosarge’s big moment.

Now that is beautiful news, and also why we luuuuurve us some J. Cole.
