Nicki Minaj Jordan Sneakers

Nicki Minaj just debuted her latest fashion venture on Instagram, which are a pair of limited edition Air Jordans, part of her new partnership with the famed sneaker brand. The rumored fiancée of Meek Mill was clearly “feelin’ herself,” writing in the caption that her Pinkprint sneakers were “about to sh*t on every male rapper who’s ever stepped FOOT in the sneaker game!!!” and that it was “just a TASTE of the secret that’s about to revealed!!!!”

Minaj definitely seems to have a lot of secret projects going on. From her heart-shaped diamond ring teaser to a reported surprise TIDAL release and now a possible, upcoming line with the Jordan brand.

Minaj joins a long line of rappers to collab with sneaker brands, although Minaj is the first female to do so. Reebok has produced lines for Jay Z, 50 Cent and Swizz Beatz. Her Young Money mentor Lil Wayne was backed by Supra. Drake had his own OVO line through Air Jordans. And of course the Air Yeezys that were first made by Nike and now via Adidas.

And the kicks are already getting rave reviews. ELLE magazine has called the pink, purple and gold design a “Lisa Frank lover’s dream.”
