Taraji P. Henson is hosting Saturday Night Live this Saturday with musical guests Mumford & Sons and they’re pulling out all the stops to make sure we’ll be tuning in.

The promo commercials shows Taraji as she tries to teach ‘SNL ‘cast member Taran Killam how to harness his inner Cookie Lyon to gain respect at work. They even did a spoof of “Empire” called “Umpire” wearing baseball equipment.

Taraji is only the 10th Black Woman to host SNL in 40 years. Kerry Washington hosted the late night variety show last year.

We LOVE how Taraji P. Henson is completely owning 2015. While “Empire” isn’t returning until 2016, you can catch Taraji P. Henson reprising her role as Joss Carter on an episode the popular CBS drama “Person of Interest” next week.
