Wait, What: Kanye West Claims “Racism Is A Dated Concept”

Can someone please tell us when this “Yeezy Season” of Kanye West’s ends because we are tired of him and his foot in mouth disorder! Ye sat down with France’s Clique TV, to talk about fashion, the state of pop music, race, his daughter North’s toys and more. During the interview West claimed the reason why he wore a confederate flag on tour was to “reclaim” the symbol, which has been tied to slavery and racism. Later in the interview, West opened up about racism and claimed racism wasn’t a “current concept.” Bruh, seriously?

The interviewer asked West to elaborate more on the subject, he remarked:

Racism is a dated concept. It’s a silly concept that people touch on to try to separate, to alienate, to pinpoint anything. It’s stupid. It’s like a bouncing ball in a room with two cats or something. When you don’t feel like playing the cat you throw the bouncing ball and let literally them fight over the bouncing ball, and the bouncing ball has nothing, no purpose, anything other than it bounces. That’s racism. It’s not an actual thing that even means anything, it’s something that was used to hold people back in the past, but now there have been so many leaps, it’s played out like a style from the eighteen hundreds or something.
