Zendaya Responds to Giuliana Rancic’s Comments

Last night, Twitter was on fire from the unbelievably racist comment made by Fashion Police co-host Giuliana Rancic. Rancic said that 18 year old Zendaya‘s faux locs looked like it smelled of ” Patchouli Oil And Weed.”

Girl!

Rancic’s response goes to show that you can never underestimate people’s ability to be insensitive and racist. Lots of people pointed out the fact that Rancic’s E! co-worker Kylie Jenner had faux dreadlocks not too long ago and wasn’t told any of those comments.

Zendaya responded in the classiest way possible with this heartfelt message on Instagram.

Of course, Giuliana had to save face and offered up a non-apology apology.

That’s not going to fan the flames of the fire her comments left. She’s definitely going to have to do more apologizing than that.

Can’t say we’re surprised by this news.

This is all one big mess that started several months ago. Let’s start from the beginning: K. Michelle initially heard Meek Mill‘s “Buy A Heart” song and decided to name her album “Anybody wanna buy a heart?” Some time later, Nicki Minaj decided to use the same “Buy A Heart” song for her new album “The Pinkprint.”

It was after all of this that K. Michelle allegedly leaked to the media that Nicki was dating Meek. Now the story has taken an interesting turn: Nicki’s ex Safaree is reportedly wooing K. Michelle. The two allegedly spent Valentine’s Day together and were seen partying during fashion week.

Looks like they’re getting kind of cozy…

Do you guys think this is a real situationship or just pettiness wrapped in a rebound?

The Oscar winner singed on with the beauty brand Lancome as a spokeperson last year and has already had a tremendous impact on the company.  Reportedly, after her Oscar win and signing, the company brought in $63 Million last year.

Wow.

Lupita’s signing probably brought in a demographic of Black women, particularly dark-skinned women that may have never considered the brand before.

Now if only we could use our powers to make that Jared Leto thing happen…

Kanye West was honored at the 2015 BET Honors with the Visionary Award.

From his music to his fashion line and shoes, Kanye is definitely a trendsetter. Kanye admitted that for the first time in his life he understands what it means to be humbled.

But in true Kanye fashion, he had to make his speech about everything except the real reason why he was there.  He even told a story about Kim Kardashian’s late father.

“She told me where her father, Robert Kardashian, walked out and on the side of his Bentley, they wrote, ‘Nigger Lover,’ because Robert Kardashian was the genius that put together the defense team that got O.J. off,  She had never saw her father curse, get mad; he was the most laidback human being. And he went so crazy and tried to chase the people down. And she stood there crying and said, ‘Dad, why are you going so crazy?’ And he said to her, ‘One day, you may have a black child. A beautiful, beautiful, beautiful black child. And it’s going to be hard. You’re going to see how hard it is.'”

Not sure what they had to do with the award but okay…

The couple was spotted out at the premiere of Keyshia Cole’s new reality show “All In” in L.A looking like old times. The couple was reportedly hugged up in the the VIP section.

They even posed for pictures together.
