Just a week after his divorce announcement, Chris Rock hit up the Variety Creative Impact Awards to lobby for Oscar votes for his recently released film Top Five.
But did he end up dissing Black women in the process? You be the judge.
“Comedies never get nominated. So I’m going to blatantly appeal to the voters. February 22 is my mother’s birthday. 70th birthday. If I’m nominated, I will take her to the Oscars. If not, I will take her to Fatburger. We don’t need another Black woman at Fatburger. So please vote for me,” he joked.
Wow. Low blow Chris.

Bill Cosby Returns To The Stage Tonight In Toronto
After months of rape allegations and cancelled shows, Bill Cosby is returning to the stage tonight in Toronto. However, the show isn’t going on without a hitch: There are expected to be protests, low attendance and hecklers in the audience.
Cosby has three performances scheduled in Canada this week and if he decides to cancel the those shows, he would be on the hook for nearly half a million dollars, according to the show’s promoter.
While Cosby is focused on getting through those performances, his lawyer will be duking it out in court as two more victims Linda Joy Traitz and Therese Serignese have come forward and joined Tamara Green in filing defamation lawsuits against the star.
Despite the slew of women claiming Bill Cosby raped them, his former co-star Phylicia Rashad defended him in a recent interview with ShowBiz.
Looks like Cosby is facing a very tough 2015.

Bobby Shmurda Is Still In jail
Looks like we were premature in speculating the release of Ackquille “Bobby Shumurda” Pollard yesterday.
According to his lawyer, Bobby is still incarcerated at Rikers Island. Shmurda was arrested last year on weapons and conspiracy charges.
Allegedly, his record company, Epic was supposedly going to bail him out of jail. But those reports have yet to be confirmed as he has been at Rikers Island for nearly a month.
