T.I. Defends Iggy After She Was Schooled By Q-Tip

T.I. has once again come to the defense of his artist Iggy Azalea after she was given a respectful and informative lesson on the history of hip-hop by rapper Q-Tip on Twitter. Remember when he “checked” Snoop Dogg for dissing Iggy?

In case you missed it, Q-Tip schooled Iggy about the roots and importance of hip-hop this weekend. “now u are fulfilling your dreams …,” “The Abstract” rapper tweeted. “BUT! you have to take into account the HISTORY as you move underneath the banner of hiphop. As I said before hiphop is fun it’s vile it’s dance it’s traditional it’s light hearted but 1 thing it can never detach itself from is being a SOCIO-Political movement.”

Of course T.I. had to get in on the action because Iggy just needs to be saved so bad and added his two cents to the mix.

He tweeted,

Despite Iggy’s obvious infatuation with the Black culture (she’s Australian and raps with a southern accent) she has been silent on issues in the Black community prompting certain rappers to speak out against the rising star. Days before, Azealia Banks blasted Iggy during an interview with Hot 97. Banks expressed her frustrations, saying “I feel, just like in this country, whenever it comes to our things, like black issues or black politics or black music or whatever, there’s always this undercurrent of kind of like a, ‘F*ck you,'” She added, “There’s always like a, ‘F*ck y’all, niggas. Y’all don’t really own shit. Y’all don’t have sh*t.'”

Tyga took to Twitter to respond to the recent rumors surrounding his relationship with Blac Chyna.

Tyga must have deleted the tweet because it is no longer on his Twitter page.

Tyga and Blac Chyna‘s relationship has been up and down ever since their breakup earlier this year and while we thought they were working on being friends again, this latest report suggests otherwise.

Chris Brown Working Double Time

Chris Brown is making strides in his community service sentence. According to TMZ, Breezy has been hard at work over the last six weeks, chipping away at his sentence by engaging in “physical labor 6 hours a day, 5 days a week to complete his 1,000 hours by the next court hearing in mid-January.”

Breezy was sentenced to 1,000 hours stemming from the 2009 Rihanna assault case that left the “Diamonds” singer battered and bruised.

Rosie O’ Donnell Ready To Quit Because Of Whoopi?

From her comments on the Bill Cosby rape scandal to her crazy views on race, Whoopi Goldberg has been making a lot of questionable statements lately and one person has had enough. According to reports, Rosie O’ Donnell is over it. During a recent episode of “The View,” with “OITHNB” star Laverne Cox as guest host, Rosie and Whoopi got into it…again!

“Listen, you are a white lady telling me what is racist to you, which is fine,” Whoopi said. “I’m a gay-American that has been called a dyke,” Rosie responded to which Whoopi coldly retorted, “It’s not the same.”

Rosie, taken aback by Whoopi’s statement, added, “I have a black kid I raise, Whoopi. I have a black kid in my house.” Goldberg repeated, “It’s not the same.”

The feud only escalated from there.

“You don’t have to be black to know what racism is,” Rosie said. “Yes you do,” Whoopi responded. When it was all over, a source claims producers suggested using a split screen to show Goldberg and O’ Donnell at the same time. According to reports, she “went absolutely ballistic, pointing out that was the reason she had quit the first time. Racism is a very serious subject, and Rosie felt that the staff of the show was trying to exploit it for ratings.” O’ Donnell allegedly threatened to “walk out” again.

We have a feeling Rosie won’t be sticking around to deal with Whoopi’s shenanigans much longer.
