Keyshia Cole is getting sued by Sabrina Mercadel, a woman who claims she was attacked by the “She” singer. Remember when Keyshia showed up to Cash Money Mogul Birdman’s house at 5 a.m., only to run up on him with Mercadel…and then she lost it and started throwing them bows? We didn’t even know Keyshia was dating Birdman, but ok girl.
“Who the f*** are you? What are you doin’ with my man?” Mercadel alleges Keyshia screamed before she scratched her in the face and beat her. Mercadel also claims that Cole slapped her on the butt and said, “You can get your money later,” implying that she was a prostitute.
Mercadel has since filed for a restraining order and Keyshia went to twerk on a piano for Birdman. But according to TMZ, Mercadel is suing Keyshia over the alleged attack and in the suit, she’s claiming that Keyshia accused her of sleeping with Birdman. Mercadel maintains she and Birdman are just friends.
Hmm, well Birdman may want to handle his ladies, but he might not have time!
The founder of Cash Money has been accused of screwing over a construction company that redid his Miami mansion for $1 million. The company is taking Birdman to court so they can get their money honey. The Zankey Construction Company filed a lien against Birdman claiming they were not properly paid after they did an extensive amount of work on the lavish mansion. The lien details that Birdman didn’t pay two invoices–one for $998,700.97 and the other for $43,049.35, totaling a little over a million dollars. They claim Birdman refuses to pay even though he paid $14.5 million dollars for the mansion that was previously owned by super producer Scott Storch before he went bankrupt.
Woops. I guess a ridiculous house complete with 17 bathrooms, 25-ft ceilings, a movie theater, a gym, a spa, with an in-house massage room and 100ft of waterfront and a private dock will take a lot out of your bank account. With all of that, the house still wasn’t good enough for Birdman, so he put another $5 million into renovations. Birdman’s got way too much money. Just way too much.

Kourtney was surrounded by her sisters Khloe, Kim and Kylie, but guess who didn’t come?! Kendall! It seems their modeling sister had better things to do in New York–see Justin Bieber. Biebs put up an Instagram video of himself enjoying a regular sized coffee and then he made fun of the girl’s cup who he was with, calling it a “cute” coffee cup, then revealed it was Kendall. These two have been spending a lot of time together lately…hmmm…
Khloe shared a photo on Instagram of the beautiful table, complete with a croissant and captioned it: “We miss you our little croissant @kendalljenner.” Clearly, there’s no hard feelings that Kendall missed her sister’s shower, but to skip out for Biebs? This better he a love story unfolding!

By now, you should be fully obsessed with “How To Get Away With Murder” like the rest of us and subsequently obsessed with the powerful lead, Viola Davis. Her new show, where she plays high powered attorney and professor Annalise Keating, is getting rave reviews and since sex sells, once could only assume that the plethora of hot and heavy sex scenes has something to do with that!
Recently, Access Hollywood got the chance to ask Davis about the sex scenes and that moment when she took her wig off. The 49-year-old actress admitted that she doesn’t like that her mother gets to see her in them. She said, “I’ve gotta tell my mother beforehand so she has time to leave the house for about 3 or 4 minutes. Because otherwise, I’m gonna be afraid to go back home to Rhode Island for the holidays!” It’s amazing to know that a woman of Davis’ caliber still fears her mother. I know that as a 30-year-old woman, my mom is aware that I’m sexually active, but we just don’t talk about it because…ew.
One scene from “HTGAWM” that will always be a major part of the show was when Viola’s character Annalise came home from a long day at work, to get a hunch that her husband was cheating on her and she sat in front of her vanity, wiping her face clean of makeup and she slipped off her wig.
The moment made for one of the most poignant moments in TV for Black women. And when asked about it, Davis shared:
“The conversation was, ‘Shonda, I want to take my wig off.’ You know, I said, ‘I do not want a scene where I’m going to bed at night with my wig on’ – we don’t [do that]. That scene was two-fold. That scene was watching a woman prepare to go to bed at night, really watching it. I thought that that would be powerful, but I also thought that it would be powerful watching someone taking off a mask. [I heard from] Halle Berry and [‘Sleepy Hollow’ star] Nicole Beharie. Halle Berry just said, ‘Girl, I had to send you an e-mail, you’re doing such a great job, I celebrate you.’ She’s always like that by the way. She’s very very, very supportive.”
Wow, who knew the shedding of the wig was Viola’s idea?! I can’t get enough of this show! Who’s watching tonight with me?!

Say it ain’t so! “RHOA” cast members Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss’ relationship is said to be strained because of Phaedra’s estranged husband, Apollo. On the premiere of “RHOA,” Kandi questioned Phaedra’s loyalty to Apollo when she found out that she didn’t attend his sentencing hearing. This may have been the beginning of any ill feelings.
In an interview with Bravo, Phaedra was asked if any of her fellow cast mates reached out to her during this difficult time in her relationship with Apollo and Phaedra neglected to mention Kandi as a supportive friend:
“NeNe and Porsha have been extremely supportive of me and very attentive throughout this entire ordeal, and for that I am extremely grateful. Unfortunately, some of the others decided to use my personal crisis as an opportunity to further their own interests and talk to the media to get press for themselves. The lack of compassion was, at times, shocking.”
But it’s Kandi’s admission of “taking Apollo’s side” that truly seals the closure of her friendship with Phaedra:
“It’s very hard. Phaedra is always assuming I’m siding with Apollo, which isn’t true. Todd and Apollo became pretty good friends, so I would say he takes Apollo’s side a lot. Todd and I have serious debates over their issues. Sometimes I get to the point where I’m like, ‘Listen Todd, we shouldn’t be arguing about their problems.’ It’s crazy really… At the end of the day Phaedra is my girl. I’m always going to be honest with her about what I think. Sometimes we have a difference of opinion, but it’s not because I’m taking anyone’s side against her. Never that! It always sucks when two people that you really like are going through something as crazy as this. I’ve always heard that when a married couple goes through a divorce the people close to them end up going through the divorce with them. I never understood what that meant before, but I do now.”

Rumor has it that model Jessica White and music mogul Dallas Austin are an item! The New York Daily News is reporting that the two lovebirds have taken their relationship to the next level and have moved in together in Atlanta and in L.A. Balllllinnnn’!
Dallas was working with Jessica in the studio and that’s reportedly where and when they fell in love. Wait a minute–Jessica sings?! Apparently, there’s a Jessica White album on the way and Dallas has been the musical genius behind it. Sounds like the same story of how he met the mother of his son, Chilli.
The paparazzi spotted the couple together at popular L.A. eatery The Ivy. They were all hugs and affection as they waited to go inside. And to fully confirm the rumor…Jessica shared a few Instagram snapshots of them loving up on each other:

Up Next: “I’m Not Gay No More” Man Speaks Out
The above video is a viral video that’s been making it’s way to inboxes far and wide, resulting in hearty giggles and then thoughtful reflections on the tension between religion and homosexuality. The man in the video, 21-year-old Andrew Caldwell (who admittedly said he’s been gay since he was 7-year-old) testified in front of the COGIC 107th Holy Convocation, asking for “more” deliverance. What he goes on to say is what made this video viral in the first place: he doesn’t like “mens” no more. He likes “women, women women.” He will no longer carry a purse, nor wear makeup.
Andrew then took to his Facebook and shared a very vulnerable and touching story about him being molested as a child and actually enjoying it and having struggles around his sexuality:
“My name is Andrew Caldwell. I appeared on a video at the recent Church of God In Christ International Convocation in St Louis. On that video I gave a testimony of deliverance from homosexuality. As a child, I was raped by a member of my own family. At that time I did not think of it as abuse. I kind of enjoyed it. I kept it to myself, not realizing how it had changed me. Growing up wasn’t a pleasant experience. I was harassed, heckled, and ridiculed by classmates. Many told me that I would never amount to anything. This gave me the motivation to try to prove them wrong. Being fairly attractive as a young man, it was not difficult for me to get involved with other men. I have dated athletes, ministers, and celebrities. As time passed I got tired of this way of living. I always attended church. But I always found the same things in church that I found in the world. After joining my present church, it came to me that this lifestyle was not right. It seemed that the more I tried to quit on my own, the more intense was the temptation. All last week I fasted and prayed. On this past Saturday at the Convocation, there was an alter call. I came forward and offered my testimony. It was unscripted. Not only do I hope for my own deliverance but for the deliverance of others who may be struggling with their own issues. To my doubting detractors, I pray for you. To my supporters, I am grateful for your support and prayers.”
Caldwell sat with Church Folk Revolution Radio on Blog Radio and shared very intimate details about his life as a gay man who has been “delivered:”
On his former lifestyle:
“I am truly delivered. I was delivered for a year. The Lord gave me a vision that if you continue to walk in this (homosexuality)…I was gonna die in a heart attack. I said LORD, I’m not ready to die. I have not lied, I have not fornicated I have not slept with a man in a year since I have been delivered. I have no taste for a man. I have a taste for woman.”
On his new-found fame:
“It’s a little bit overwhelming. But God gets all the glory. If it wasn’t for God’s grace and chains hadn’t been broken and I’m no longer bound, what would I be? God is saying, ‘Take the chance I gave you.’ I’ve always wanted to be famous. I always wanted that in life. I always wanted to be the top person.”
His advice to gay people who want to be delivered:
“God can deliver…but you have to want to be delivered. And then, it’s gonna take process.”
On his change from being a gay man to “liking women”:
“I don’t hang out the places I used to go, I don’t do the things I used to do, I don’t say the things I used to say. I don’t buy the things I used to buy.”
His hopes for the future
“I hope this video does get out…it can change a lives.”
On the viral video:
“When I walked up there, I was walking up there change-bound. It was not planned. He says he does not know who taped the video. I needed prayer and I got the prayer. When I ran to the camera and walked down the aisle, I felt a good shadow all over me. My body was feeling like, ‘I”m about to go play football.'”
On people who criticize:
“Everybody has a past, but my future is my present. I don’t look back on my past.”
Plans for the future:
“One day…I believe one day someone is gonna sponsor me so I can have a conference and fill that place up and hear everyone’s story.”
