Quvenzhane Wallis and Jamie Foxx Cover ‘Essence’ Holiday Issue + New ‘Annie’ Trailer [VIDEO]

Quvenzhané Wallis and Jamie Foxx are making spirits bright for the Holiday 2014 issue of “Essence” as they promote their upcoming movie, “Annie.”

The pair look nothing less than regal for their article, which will also be the first interactive cover of the magazine. Readers will be able to access additional digital content via the app, but there will still be plenty to take in with the hard copy edition.

In their “Gifted & Grateful” feature, Jamie can’t say enough nice things about Quvenzhané, who also serves as the face of Armani Junior! In his opinion, “Annie” could never have been remade without her.

“I don’t think we could have done this movie unless Quvenzhané came along. It’s sort of like she’s tailor-made for the role in a sense. I would challenge you to find a girl who personifies ‘Annie’ better than Quvenzhané does.”
