Nicki Minaj and her longtime boyfriend Safaree broke up earlier this year after rumors suggested he was jealous of Nicki’s success. Well, that may be only partially true. According to TMZ, the real reason Nicki and Safaree ultimately ended their relationship was because they got into a heated altercation where cops were called.

Nicki must have been watching “Waiting To Exhale” because she allegedly chased him out of her mansion with a bat then “pulverized” his 2012 Benz. The madness didn’t stop there. She also threw his clothes in the garbage. Cops were called to the residence but no one was arrested. Safaree was escorted off the property.

Apparently Nicki owned the Benz, so she was let off the hook.

New hair. New man.

Chris Brown may have tried to ruin Tamar Braxton’s life with a read from hell yesterday, but we’re pretty sure she could care less. Tamar just landed another gig on top of being a daytime TV host, critically acclaimed singer and published author. Mrs. Braxton-Herbert will be hosting the red carpet of the 2014 Soul Train Awards Show on CENTRIC along with co-host Tank (style correspondent) and Janell Snowden.

And if that isn’t incentive enough to tune in, Jodeci, Missy Elliott and Lil Kim are set to hit the stage with a slew of other artists (including, Tamar’s new enemy C Breezy).

The Soul Train Awards 2014 Red Carpet Show airs on Centric on November 30 at 7PM ET/PT followed by the show at 8PM ET/PT.

Adrian Peterson Gets Community Service In Child Abuse Case

Adrian Peterson was sentenced to probation in the child abuse case that raised questions around parenting and corporal punishment. Peterson was given 80 days of community service after a judge accepted his no contest plea deal and reduced his former felony child abuse charge to misdemeanor domestic violence. He was also charged a $4,000 fine.

“I want to say I truly regret this incident. I take full responsibility for my actions. I love my son, more than anyone of you could even imagine” he said following the court appearance.
