Mariah’s Terrible Performance
Mariah’s “Elusive Chanteuse” World Tour started in Tokyo, Japan last night and we’d love to say it kicked off with a bang, but Mimi fizzled with a faulty falsetto during what can only be described as a cringe-worthy performance. The singer, dressed in a gorgeous gown, hit some not-so-pretty notes during her set and left fans pondering if she’s completely lost her voice.
By the sounds of the awful notes coming through her mic in Japan (as seen in the video above), we think something may have been wrong with her backtrack or sadly, Ariana Grande stole her vocal cords in her sleep. It didn’t even sound like she was trying to sing.
In case you don’t recall, Mimi suffered a similar singing incident during the “Good Morning America” series where she opened her mouth and nothing seemed to be coming out.
Whatever the case, she should just lip-sync all of her performances from now on.
UP NEXT: Wait, WHAT Did Raven-Symoné Say!?
Raven-Symoné: “Don’t Label Me African-American Or Gay”
We were almost here for Raven-Symoné’s candid interview with Oprah on “Oprah: Where Are They Now?”…then her pompous celebrity started showing.
“The Cosby Show” and “That’s So Raven” star sat down for an intimate chat about growing up a child star and finally confirmed she’s gay and in a happy relationship with a girlfriend, which has been a topic of speculation ever since she sent out a Tweet in support of gay marriage. We were with her until she started talking about why she’s not into labels and mentioned she doesn’t consider herself to be African-American. Yeah, she took it there!
“I’m tired of being labeled,” she said. “I’m an American. I’m not an African-American; I’m an American,” then added, “I have darker skin. I have a nice, interesting grade of hair. I connect with Caucasian, I connect with Asian, I connect with Black, I connect with Indian, I connect with each culture.”
Oprah knew the repercussions Raven would face, and responded “Oh, girl,” Oprah says, shifting in her chair. “Don’t set up the Twitter on fire… Oh, my lord. What did you just say?”
Our thoughts exactly. And Oprah called it: the actress is still trending on Twitter and her mentions are in shambles with people wondering why she’s denouncing being an African-American.

Bruce Jenner’s New Womanly Appearance Goes Viral
Is this why Kris Jenner divorced Bruce Jenner?
Earlier this year, it was rumored that Bruce was “transitioning” from a man to a woman and we think it may be happening again.
Bruce was photoed leaving the Elton John concert in L.A. on Saturday night and, straight up, he looked like a very tired Khloe Kardashian. The photo made its way to social media and soon went viral spawning responses from #BlackTwitter:

According to TMZ, Bruce is trying to hang onto his youth and is addicted to plastic surgery. No sh*t!
Bruce and Kris separated on June 1, 2013 and officially divorced earlier this month.

Wendy Williams Defends Making Aaliyah Biopic
In case you didn’t see the trailer that Lifetime just released of their biopic, “Aaliyah: Princess of R&B”, it’s still airing even though the late singer’s family is totally not here for it. Wendy Williams, who serves as executive producer, is defending the movie, which she says was done tastefully. “The family is not happy that the movie is being done but we did it so tastefully, I think the family would be proud,” Williams said. “We’re not throwing anybody under the bus.”
The movie has been under a lot of controversy since Disney actress Zendaya Coleman was initially casted. Zendaya quit, and Alexandra Shipp ultimately replaced her. In addition, Chattrisse Dolabaille and Izaak Smith were casted as Missy Elliott and Timbaland, which not many people were here for either.
We can only imagine how this movie will come out when it’s released.
In related Wendy news, her former friend, Charlamagne Tha God revealed that he and Nicki Minaj are no longer on speaking terms! He revealed during his Brilliant Idiot podcast that the riff between them started after Charlamagne criticized Nicki’s “Anaconda” as being a “corny” record and when he said he thought Iggy Azalea should have won the Best Female Hip Hop Artist Award at the BET Awards. Now, Nicki vows to never visit The Breakfast Club again.
Me and Nicki Minaj, I got mad love for Nicki Minaj even though she ain’t f-cking with me right now, she unfollowed me on Twitter and she’s made calls to people in radio, people that I worked for, and said she’s never coming on the Breakfast Club again-
“I know she got upset when I said I thought ‘Anaconda is corny,’ My exact synopsis on ‘Anaconda’ when it first came out was, ‘I’m not feeling this record. It’s not for me. It’s for girls. It’s for kids. It’s for people that like to shake their ass.’ I said when the video comes out I’ll probably appreciate the song more. But I said this song is going to work. I just think it’s corny. That’s what I said.
Then when the BET awards came around, I said I think Iggy Azalea should have won ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist’ at the BET awards because she’s had a better year than Nicki Minaj thus far. I still feel that way.
Now, I also said during that time period, Nicki Minaj is the king of New York. Because when I saw her perform at ‘Summer Jam’, I’m like, ‘Yo, she really owned that motherf*cking stage.’ She had the record, she had the ‘Looking Azz,’ she had the ‘Yess B-tch’ and the freestyle with Chi Raq. She was really dominating it. So if being the ‘King of New York’ still means something, she was the king of New York. so therefore I’m an objective fan.”

Tyler Perry Was Actually Great In ‘Gone Girl’
Tyler Perry has a lot more to celebrate in addition to his new baby along the way!
The reviews are in for the new thriller, “Gone Girl,” and critics are raving about Tyler Perry’s “superb” performance. The “Why Did I Get Married?” actor plays Tanner Bolt, an attorney who The Daily Beast describes as a “dazzling, hotshot Johnnie Cochran-esque” character. “Perry’s Bolt is witty, slick, brilliant, and convincing,” wrote The Daily Beast critic Alex Suskind. “Like any high-powered attorney who charges $100,000 for a retainer, Bolt always seems to be one step ahead of the competition. Yet his demeanor is more confident than cocky. It’s not an easy assignment, but Perry finds the balance. He’s able to look through the absurdity of it all, and even provide light commentary along the way.”
Tyler’s raving review may come as a surprise to even him, considering that he wasn’t sure how he even landed the role. “It’s so great,” Tyler said to Jimmy Fallon. “I don’t know how the hell I got in it.”
But, director David Fincher knows exactly what made him want to cast Tyler.“[Perry] has a huge campus with seven or eight soundstages,” Fincher said in an interview. “As we walked up to the main building, I saw this guy on the roof, in a tracksuit with a radio-controlled airplane. He was flying it around in circles. Someone then said to us, ‘Mr. Perry will be right with you.’ I thought, ‘That’s who Tanner Bolt should be.’ He’s the guy who puts you on hold while he finishes flying his remote-controlled airplane.”
