Omari Hardwick Claps Back At Fans For Calling His Wife “Ugly”

As disappointed as we were when we found out our fantasies of being seduced in a gym shower by Omari Hardwick would never happen, because they hunky “Being Mary Jane” star was married, and to a white women nonetheless, we didn’t react by calling the woman who stole his heart “ugly.” What would that solve?

But one fan did react that way and got read by Hardwick in the process. Hardwick found himself defending his wife Jennifer Pfautch’s honor on social media after a fan called her “ugly” on Twitter.

Hardwick went on an emotional rant condemning those who fail to see the ugliness in their words.

Is it us or did he just get sexier?

Once again, people are continuing to try the hell out of it when it comes to referring to Black women…and we can’t deal! Days after the New York Times took heat for that Shonda Rhimes “Angry Black Woman” profile piece (and then apologized, because they always apologize after the fact) Fox has come under fire for running ads for their new drama “The Red Band Society” ads that ran the words “scary b*tch” next to Academy Award winning actress Octavia Spencer’s photo.

After the public expressed outrage, the Metro Los Angeles tweeted that they are pulling the controversial ad from 190 Metro buses. “Metro Board Exec Comte getting earful from community over allowing ‘Red Band Society’ ad on buses. Metro officials say ad is being pulled.”

A spokeswoman for FOX said, “Metro Los Angeles ultimately decided to take down the ads, and we respect that decision.” “We sincerely apologize if the copy was offensive to viewers,” she added.

It seems as though white media is out to uphold certain stereotypes about Black women…or using the Black community as pawns to build chatter around their shows. This can’t be real..or is it?

Sigh…when will it end? While Ray Rice’s seven-month domestic violence scandal has been at the forefront of the news, we know domestic violence is an issue that happens every day and effects people of all stations of life. And there have been no shortage of notable figures, especially athletes, being exposed for their heinous acts lately.

This week police say Arizona Cardinals running back Jonathan Dwyer broke his wife Kayla’s nose by head-butting her, the New York Daily News reports. Even worse: search-warrant records made public Tuesday say the July 21 argument came after Dwyer’s wife came to believe her husband was cheating.

According to the police report Dwyer, 25, hit his wife, 27, with a closed fist causing the injury. Neighbors in their heard a fight and called the police to their Phoenix, AZ apartment but police say Kayla hid in the bathroom until they left. The next day Dwyer allegedly threw his wife’s phone from the second floor of their home to prevent her from calling the police again and allegedly threw a shoe at their 17-month-old-son.

Dwyer was finally arrested last week after his wife admitted police her husband assaulted her on July 21 and 22. The day after his arrest, the Cardinals placed Dwyer on the reserve/non-football illness list, meaning he can’t play for Arizona again this season.The NFL has said the Dwyer case will be reviewed under the league’s personal-conduct policy.

Just last week, ESPN reported that “another woman” may have been the start of Ray and Janay Rice’s argument in that Atlantic City elevator that ended in her being knocked out and dragged out by him like a bag of trash. The publication reported that “According to two sources, the couple fought about the guest list for their upcoming wedding as well as text messages Rice had received that night from a young woman, a Ravens employee.”

We are over the violence and there is never any excuse for assault but the fact that these men are  lashing out after allegedly cheating is just beyond.

Kevin Hart is everywhere these days, and the comedian is taking his personality to primetime TV once again with a guest judge spot role on “Dancing With The Stars.”

Hart will stand in for the “Movie Night” themed show September 29^th, standing in for veteran head judge Len Goodman. He’ll be judging the 11 remaining celebs alongside judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, and Bruno Tonioli and we’re sure he’ll have some hilarious commentary to give in the middle of it all.

We only hope he can finally get Alfonso Ribeiro to do the “Carlton Dance!” Like really…everyone’s been waiting for it, especially after Ribeiro got “jiggy with it” to Will Smith’s hit last week!
