Jazmine Sullivan Drops “Forever Don’t Last”
Leave it to Jazmine Sullivan to bring out our raw emotions on a soaring ballad that reaches the depths our our heart. The Philly-native follows up her Meek Mill-assisted single “Dumb” with “Forever Don’t Last”–a gritty track that exposes the downsides of love.
“And I tried to believe that we could make it / But trying don’t work / So I just have to face that forever doesn’t last too long these days,” she sings.
Jazmine’s album “Reality Show” is due in-store later this year.
UP NEXT: Jhene Aiko Feels “The Pressure”
Jhene Aiko Feels “The Pressure”
With her highly anticipated debut album “Souled Out” only days away from hitting shelves, Jhene Aiko debuted the visuals for her next single “Pressure” featuring an appearance by her daughter Namiko. The soul songstress rocks blonde dreads in the stripped down Childish Gambino and Calmatic-directed clip.
Following the release of “Souled Out,” Jhene will embark on the “King of the Fall” tour with The Weeknd and SchoolBoy Q starting September 19.
Jhene recently posed for peta2 (the youth division) in a campaign to raise awareness for adoption. “There are so many animals in the shelters that need homes,” Jhene said in an interview with peta2. “I just feel like it’s better to give those animals a second chance, rather than go out to a breeder or a shop.”
She added, “Once you do adopt your pet it’s really important to get them spayed or neutered, just to keep control over the population of so many dogs and cats.”
UP NEXT: Luke James “Dancing In The Dark”
Luke James “Dancing In The Dark”
Our favorite werewolf Luke James is back with a new video “Dancing In The Dark”…and he’s shirtless. If that isn’t reason enough to click the “play” button, he even drops his boxers. Chile, he went straight D’ Angelo and then some! The sexy visuals are dark and raunchy, making us love the soulful crooner even more.
