Erykah Badu Serves Up Designer Realness 

Yasssss! Erykah Badu served up some 70’s beaded realness for InStyle’s 20th Anniversary issue. The Ricardo Tisci spread decked out the green-eyed songbird in Christian Louboutin, Helmut Lang, Emporio Armani, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Herve Leger and more big label threads.

This is the second time that Tisci and Badu have teamed up. When Badu was chosen as the face of Givenchy’s Spring 2014 campaign, Tisci admitted that he was a super fan. It’s just that voodoo that Badu do. These images are absolutely hypnotizing!

Back in 2011, Nicki Minaj was hired by IMP Entertainment to perform at an NBA All-Star event. Allegedly, Nicki agreed to perform for an hour at midnight, but she was 90 minutes late and she only performed for 30 minutes. NY Daily News is reporting that IMP is suing Nicki for her breach in contract and want every dime back that they paid her.

The lawsuit discloses that Minaj was paid $53,050 to cover her fees, and her late and brief performance on Feb. 19, 2011, in Hollywood, Calif., “defeated the entire purpose of the event.” Although, if you ask the Barbz, they had a great time, even though Nicki abruptly left the stage after her short set.

There’s been no comment from Minaj’s camp.

Our favorite R&B bad boy, Chris Brown recently received some good news after his first probation hearing–he’s 100% drug free! Allgedly. As a result, Chris’ weekly drug tests have been reduced from three a week to two. If you follow Chris on Instagram, you’ll see that he’s in good spirits, often posting videos of himself doing something ridiculous.

In one of his latest, the “Loyal” singer lends his voice to Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” but gives it a hilarious twist. Check out the video above for a giggle. Rumors have been swirling recently that Chris has been trying to get back with Rihanna, but a source close to Rihanna says that she wants nothing to do with her former love. Even though I’m not a Chris Brown hater, I am proud of Rihanna for standing firm on her decision to flee a bad situation.

Chris Brown was recently jailed for nearly three months for violating his probation for assaulting Rihanna in 2009 after getting into a fight with a fan in Washington D.C.

North West Makes Her Modeling Debut!

Yes, North is a model now and if you ask me, she’s late! The adorable offspring of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West has ditched her camera-lovin’ parents and posed on her own in the new issue of Carine Roitfeld’s CR Fashion Book. North is the cutest thing you’ve ever seen in a Chanel cardigan and purse, flower broach and pearl earrings. How fancy! Baby North has appeared already in U.S. Vogue with Kimye earlier this year, but this is her first solo shot! She looks cuter without that baggage anyways!

The spread is called, “Legends,” and it celebrates unconventional style icons and at one-year-old, I’d say that’s pretty unconventional. I bet North is going to make every little chubby cheeked chick want a Chanel bag. I realize that North is the cutest thing to happen to Kim K and Kanye, but how did she get this sweet gig?

Yesterday, the “All Of Me” singer tweeted about the cops intentionally igniting the situation, claiming that they wanted “an excuse” to kill Blacks.
