Republicans Eyeing Dr. Ben Carson For 2016 Presidential Bid
Dr. Ben Carson has made a major step toward making a play for The White House in 2016!
The retired neurosurgeon and BET Honor recipient has the Republican party buzzing that he plans to run for president in the next election, CNN reports. The conservative pundit grabbed attention Friday by forming a political action committee, which he’s dubbed One Nation.
“Now is the time to start all of the appropriate exploration and investigation, and put down the structure that is necessary,” he said after meeting with supporters in Florida. “I would say we are definitely a step or two closer than we were a year ago.”

Ben, who is a conservative political pundit, hasn’t confirmed his bid for the presidency just yet. Instead he’s waiting to see how Congress is going to look in terms of party balance before he officially declares his campaign.
He’s hoping that his committee will be able to shape the Senate and the House of Representatives now.
Board member Mike Murray told CNN, “One Nation PAC will help elect candidates in 2014 who share Dr. Carson’s belief in a prosperous, united America, and give him the ability to more directly impact the political process moving forward.”
