Janelle Monae Goes Greek In “Electric Lady”

Janelle Monae throws a b*tchin’ sorority party!

The self-proclaimed android released the visuals to her song “Electric Lady” and if you haven’t guessed it by now, the sorority themed vid is a feel good time equipped with 70s references that make you want to groove. Monae abandoned her signature pompadour and suit for a fabulous afro and Letterman jacket in the retro clip.

T-Boz, Estelle, Esperanza Spalding, Monica and Kimbra make appearances as Electro Phi Beta alumni and if you watch close enough you can catch cameos from choreographer Fatima Richardson and Monae’s mother.

Jessie J, Ariane Grande & Nicki Minaj “Bang Bang”

When it was announced that Jessie J, Ariane Grande and Nicki Minaj collaborated on a song called “Bang Bang,” pop fans pretty much fainted. After much ado (and teases on social media) the girls released the song to rave reviews. We predict that “Bang Bang” will go straight to the top of the charts.

Jessie J and Ariane Grande’s voice soar on the infectious hit. And Nicki adds just the right amount of attitude to give it that “Lady Marmalade” flare.
