‘Think Like A Man Too’ Tops The Box Office

Congrats are in order to the cast of “Think Like A Man Too!”

The hilarious sequel to “Think Like A Man,” featuring some of our fave actorsincluding Kevin Hart, Michael Ealy, Regina Hall, Gabrielle Union and Meagan Good — was number 1 at the box office this weekend and raked in $30 million. The original “Think Like A Man” opened at the top spot with $33 million in 2012.

We’re totally excited for the cast, but we have to give it up for producer Will Packer. “Think Like A Man Too” is his third box office hit this year. He also produced “Ride Along,” which pulled in $41 million during its opening weekend and “About Last Night,” which included that infamous chicken suit sex scene, pulled in $26.5 million.

For those who say films with all-Black casts can’t do well on a mainstream level..

Aaliyah Biopic Includes Marriage To R. Kelly

This could be another reason Aaliyah’s family is not here for their daughter’s Lifetime biopic starring Zendaya Coleman.

According to Page Six, the film will include details on Aaliyah and R.Kelly’s controversial marriage. If you remember, Aaliyah was 15 when she married then 27-year-old R.Kelly in 1994, but it was later annulled by her parents. This is a bold move for Lifetime, considering that the family is already not here for Zendaya being casteda few of other celebs, like Teyana Taylor, auditioned for the role, by the way — and Lifetime is still moving along with plans without a relative having a say in Aaliyah’s story.

It’s going to be interesting to see how this movie turns out in the end.

Robin Thicke Tries To ‘Get Her Back’ In New Video

Robin Thicke is really trying his absolute best to win back Paula Patton. The “Blurred Lines” crooner released his video for the song, “Get Her Back,” which is off of his upcoming album named, “Paula.”

The video is definitely a far cry from the funky videos we saw from Robin last year. With messages on the screen that include, “I can’t make love to you anymore,” “I’m sorry” and “You drink too much,” this video is definitely the most personal one from Robin and could be revealing a few details on why the couple separated in the first place. Check out the video above.

We’re going to let him finish and everything, but we think Paula has moved on from Robin, even though she says she’ll always have love for him.

Oh, well.

Keyshia Cole Talks Lesbian Love On New Song?

We didn’t see this coming from Keyshia Cole. The “Heaven Sent” singer, who seems to be settled on divorcing ex-husband Daniel Gibson, released a new song, “She,” and, giirlll, it’s interesting. The song has a catchy, get-stuck-in-your-head beat, but the lyrics are sure to raise a few eyebrows. Maybe ‘she’ refers to a female crush fantasy?

“Never been fooled away/Down to try something different/Lips and legs, soft skin so feminine/Curves like me, covered in my cherry scent/Them boys loves some you/But I ain’t mad ’cause you look good on me too.”

Check out the new song above, is Keyshia going another route after her failed marriage?

Patti LaBelle Is Willing To Sell Shoes To Save “After Midnight”

After reports confirmed that the Broadway run for “After Midnight” will come to an end, Patti LaBelle, who has a starring role in the production, is willing to fight to keep the play alive.

The play pays homage to Duke Ellington and The Cotton Club and includes several energetic musical numbers (Gladys Knight, Patti and Fantasia performed a song from the play during this year’s Tony Awards). In an interview with ABC, Ms. Patti says that she’s worried about what will happen to the cast once the production ends. “My whole worry is to all of those wonderful talents, what will they do after this play?,” Patti asks. “When you see this play, you think it will be here like a Cats or a Wicked, you know, 10 years or something.  This play is so wonderful, so my heart is broken for the cast.  Totally.  And that Gladys Knight won’t get a chance or Natalie Cole won’t get a chance to experience this wonderful play.”

Well Patti is pulling out all the stops to try and keep the play alive, she’s even willing to sell her shoes, hunny! “I’m ready to take buckets after the show when the people are leaving the building and offer a kiss for $5,000 or one of my old shoes or something.”

All jokes aside, we hope this play is saved. We remember how Fantasia shut it down during her performance run.
