When part one of the “Love & Hip Hop: New York” season 4 reunion special aired last night, fists were thrown and tears were shed all in the matter of an hour. Tahiry took over our Twitter handle (@HelloBeautiful) to give some of the tea from behind the scenes and comedienne Mo’Nique hosted the evening and dug deep to the root of our favorite character’s story lines. Some issues that played out over the season went unresolved while others were laid out on the table for the audience to judge. Either way, it got pretty juicy.

Check out our countdown of the six most memorable moments.

6. Mo’Nique Explains…
Fans were quite shocked when it was announced that Academy Award-winning actress Mo’Nique would be hosting the #LHHNY reunion special. Let’s be frank: it seemed like a pretty desperate move for Mo’Nique to be hosting as ratchet a show as ‘LHHNY’ but Mo’Nique clarified why she took the position and her reasoning was simple: she got hooked. “One Saturday there was a ‘Love & Hip Hop’ marathon [and] when I tell you I wanted to turn the channel and I could not because I realized these people’s lives, their stories were so compelling and they take you on an adventure,” Mo’Nique explained to the audience in a dramatic voice like the one Iyanla Vanzant uses when she pulls the demons out of her show guests’ backs. Mo’Nique was drawn in to the Mona Scott-Young production for the same reasons we were. It’s just like that car wreck you just can’t turn away from…

5. To ‘Dollaz’ It Didn’t Make Sense

When it came to Erica Mena and Cyn Santana’s relationship that played out all season, as Mo’Nique so eloquently put it: “to Dollaz it just didn’t make sense.” Apparently nothing makes sense to Rich “Pesos.” Rich played himself last season, but this time around he just took his reputation in the industry (what was left of it), balled it up and tossed it in the garbage. Rich professed himself a creep and proudly accepted that he is a prick. Despite how he makes out stomach churn, he made a point when he questioned Erica’s relationship with Cyn because she wouldn’t surpass his advance. “Don’t come sit on my lap, don’t come to my crib,” he said. When Mo’Nique finally asked Rich if he was still in love with Erica, he answered “Absolutely.” Well duh!

4. What about Cyn?

Can we just talk about Cyn’s makeup? Her face was beat to the GAWDS! At one point in between Erica and Rich’s shouting match, Cyn asked an important question. “What about me?” Here’s the thing… Erica and Rich are still in love and until that love subsides Cyn will never be first. However, she made it clear that she won’t be walked over by Erica who’s been pretty sloppy when it comes to monogamy.

3. You Are The Bottom!

Nya Lee made her presence felt on “Love & Hip Hop” by being a bit abrasive to anyone who tried to talk to her. The former stripper (excuse me) stripper came on the show to pursue her music career and after a fall out with Erica, quickly faded off the show. “You are the bottom,” Erica screamed provoking Nya who reacted with a swing. She completely missed and social media didn’t let her or her feathers live it down. After trying to punch Erica, she apologized and said she didn’t come to the reunion to fight. Long story short, Erica still has her back.

2. Peter & Amina Perform

We’re not sure how Tara managed to sit in her seat through Peter and Amina’s duet. Seriously, we would have thrown a chair, a microphone, Nya Lee’s feathers…something! Peter and Amina took to the stage to perform their song (who cares about the name) and it was just as bad as we imagined it to be. Peter prides himself on being a Grammy-nominate artist, delivered the WORST rap lyrics of all time. “This dude so sheisty, he left his baby’s mother and wifed he side piece,” he rapped. Not only did he not give a f**k about Tara’s feelings, he obviously didn’t care to write a decent rap. It was like Silkk The Shocker circa No Limit. To make matters worse, Peter wasn’t sure how Tara couldn’t see that he was cheating all the times he would not come home at night. As if.

1. ‘You Left Me At Thick’

Tahiry Jose took over the @HelloBeautiful Twitter account for the reunion and gave us exclusive insight into her and Joe Budden’s relationship. Emotions were high as they sat down to talk through the very issues that prevented them from walking down the aisle. It went south very fast and Tahiry wound up in tears as she defended all she had done for Joey to Joey who claimed she had left him at “thick” and wasn’t as pivotal in his life as she claims. Here’s what we learned from her tweets:

Tahiry denied Joe’s proposal because she questioned his intent:

Tahiry can’t believe how ungrateful Joe is:

Tahiry finally threw in the towel:
