GLAM OR GROSS? Alicia Goes Back In Time
She’s one of the prettiest girls I’ve ever seen, but when Alicia Keys first stepped onto the scene, I wasn’t really into her fedora-and/or-cornrows style that she rocked over and over again. But then she started doing different things with her hair, and wearing more flattering clothes, and I began to admire her for more than her music. I’m not always a fan of her looks, but it seems like the older she gets, the flyer she looks.
However, when I saw this picture of Ms. Keys in shiny denim, cornrows, hoops, and some sort of shirt, I had to double-check and make sure I was seeing a picture taken in 2009. What’s going on here? I don’t think I’m a fan. She reminds me of one of my mom’s friends. My mom’s friends are fly, but she’s 28, not 54.
