In Kandi’s world, Mama Joyce is Queen and she needs to put her reign to an end. In last night’s episode of RHOA once again Mama Joyce has shown just how far off her rocker she truly is. Phaedra and Apollo made up, Porsha’s emergency trip to the hospital rounding things up, and Nene plans a getaway to Savannah for the girls. Find out more after the jump…

After taking advice from his older friend Peter, Apollo decided he had had enough of being ignored by his wife and chose to humble himself, kind of. What should be understood about apologies is saying sorry for how a person feels about what you’ve done and asking for forgiveness for what you did, are two different things. It seems as though Apollo and Phaedra have communication issues and his apology was not what greatness is made of. He still does not see where he was wrong in texting Kenya and at this point Phaedra has realized he never will. All in all, the Nida-Parks’ have chosen to move past their differences surrounding Kenya and as Apollo so eloquently told his wife, get back to getting busy in the bathroom.
UP NEXT: Porsha Takes A Spill
While the rest of the ladies were at Kandi’s studio getting their dance on, Porsha was missing out after fainting and falling down the stairs at her mother’s house. Her sister, Lauren filled the girls in on what happened when Nene called, saying that the doctor just ordered she get some rest. Later we come to find out that Porsha was dehydrated and most likely overwhelmed with stress concerning her divorce. She and her sister decide to use a drugstore blood pressure machine while getting meds for Porsha and it indicates that she may have hypertension. It’s probably best that this Georgia peach just relax before she wears herself out.

All things wedding have moved once again to the front burner as Kandi decided to go try on some gowns after last week’s dinner between her mother and fiance, turns out perhaps she moved too soon. The day seemed to start off well enough as Kandi, Carmon and another friend peruse the gowns for her and choose a few. As Kandi walks away with the sales woman Carmon begins to tell the friend about the issues between her and Mama Joyce. It all spills out about her supposedly sleeping with Todd and how she has had enough of the rumors. Carmon says how she can’t take anymore and things take a sudden turn for the worse when Joyce and her gang arrive at the bridal shop. Immediately Mama Joyce makes a snide remark about Kandi needing to find someone else to marry then alludes that Carmon knows Todd better than anyone. Like the rest of us, Carmon is pretty tired of Mama Joyce’s claims that she is sneaking around with Todd and she let’s it be known. It’s what happens next that surely left everyone with their mouth wide open.
UP NEXT: Carmon asks Kandi to Choose
As Mama Joyce attempts to take off her shoes and throw them at Carmon, Kandi emerges in her first potential gown only to be greeted by her mother being held back and her aunts yelling at her best friend. Per usual Kandi has no idea what could possibly be going on, so she says, she flashes that stunned smile she uses to avoid confronting an issue. The situation seems to calm down as Carmon returned to the room after storming out. But it quickly escalates again when Mama Joyce tells Carmon to leave and proceeds to curse at her and attempt to fight her again. Clearly always the one to be manipulated by her family, Kandi’s aunts convince her to try on another dress only then to tell say none of them want her to marry Todd. Obviously there’s a seed that has been planted about Todd’s presence and this poor guy is having to endure Kandi’s lacksadasical attitude all while having to deal with her mother too. There is going to have to be a moment when Kandi decides to stop being her mother’s puppet and stand up for herself, her man and her friends; otherwise like Carmon said, her mother run her life forever.
