Sanaa Lathan Talks Starting A Family & Colin Kaepernick Dating Rumors [EXCLUSIVE]

Rumors of a secret romance between Sanaa Lathan and NFL star Colin Kaepernick started circulating after the two were photographed together on what looked like a date last September.

Well, the actress set the record straight during a recent interview with ESSENCE.

“That night I was just at a dinner and I took a picture with him. And he’s a cutie pie,” she said. “All of a sudden the rumors are out there.”

She added, “No, it’s not happening with Colin Kaepernick.”

However, the Best Man Holiday star, who wore a fake baby bump the entire film, did admit that she’s looking forward to starting a family of her own. During an exclusive interview with Hello Beautiful, the 42-year-old beauty said she’d love to experience motherhood one day.

“Yes, I would love to have a baby bump of my own one day,” she said during the press junket for The Best Man sequel. “When it’s right, if it’s right, if it’s going to be right.”

“I’ll help you out,” co-star Taye Diggs chimed in.

“Oh, well thanks,” Sanaa joked.
