Oprah Teams Up With HBO To Explore The World Of ‘Moody B**ches’
Oprah Winfrey is teaming up with HBO and screenwriter Diablo Cody to explore the world of “moody bitches.”
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the media mogul is developing a new comedy series based on Dr. Julie Holland’s upcoming book, Moody Bitches: The Truth About the Drugs You’re Taking, the Sex You’re Not Having, The Sleep You’re Missing and What’s Really Making You Crazy.

HBO plans to pull from Dr. Holland’s real life experiences as a psychiatrist and explore “the pros and cons of the drugs people are being offered as well as some surprising and highly effective natural therapies.”
Oprah, along with her Harpo Films company, will executive produce the project. Cody will serve as co-executive producer and writer. Her other credits include Juno, Young Adult and United States of Tara.
