This Atlanta high school cheerleader has tumbled her way into The Guinness Book of World Records!
According to reports, Mikayla Clark broke the record for most consecutive back handsprings at Westlake High School’s homecoming game Friday night. As the crowd and her teammates cheered on, the 16-year-old completed 44 backflips in a row, breaking the previous record of 36.

Clark, who’s been cheering since the age of 4, started practicing for the achievement at the beginning of the football season.
“I was looking at world records and I just happened to see the most consecutive back handsprings,” the cheer caption told told Fox News. “I clicked on the link and I was like, ‘Oh, she did 36, I think I can beat that.'”
“Most people can say, ‘Well, I won state, I did this.’ Now I can say I’m a world record holder,” she added.
WSB-TV reports Clark should receive her official Guinness World Records certificate this week.
