Snoop Dogg Changes His Name, Again!

Snoop, who is also known as Snoop Doggy Dog and Snoop Lion, wants to be called Snoopzilla now.

According to reports, the rapper is dropping a new funk album called 7 Days of Funk with Dam-Funk. For this project, Snoop wants to pay homage to Parliament/Funkadlic guitarist Bootsy “Bootzilla” Collins, so he decided to change his name — again!

“We’re the babies of the Mothership,” the entertainer said. “I’ve had funk influences in my music my whole career. Dam-Funk is cold. He’s keeping the funk alive and I knew I had to get down with him.”

“Snoop knew what I was thinking without me having to articulate it. That’s how you know when you gel artistically with someone,” Dam-Funk added about the collaborative project. “These beats were made for him and he laid down some of the smoothest harmonies and melodies I’ve ever heard. It’s hip-hop, but you can also hear what we grew up on, from Zapp to Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King and Patrice Rushen.”

Their lead single is titled “Faden Away.”

R. Kelly’s ‘Black Panties’ Album Delayed

R. Kelly’s new album Black Panties has been pushed back until December.

According to reports, the project was originally scheduled to drop on Nov. 11, however it was postponed due to “last-minute tweaks in the mastering process.”

Tracks on the new record include “F–kin’ With The Lights On,” “Girls Kissing Girls,” and the already-released single “Genius.”

“My story is all of this — sex, money, broke, women, love and even church,” Kells told Revolt TV. “It’s all of those things mixed up into one. I’m not afraid of it. I understand it. It is the nature of life. This gift I have is a beautiful disease, and I’m glad I got it.

Are you looking forward to coping Black Panties?
