Called Off Wedding Feeds 200 Homeless People In Atlanta
BEAUTIFUL NEWS: Bride Uses Called Off Wedding To Feed 200 Homeless People
Tamara Fowler was set to marry her love at the Villa Christina catering hall in Atlanta, GA, but a mere month and a half before the big day, the wedding was called off! Usually when weddings are called off, you’re left with a devastated bride and angry family members ready to rip the would-be groom to shreds. That’s not what happened at this Atlanta wedding.

Tamara’s parents, Willie and Carol had already paid for the wedding and were obviously upset that it was no longer taking place. But instead of angrily recounting all the money that went down the drain, the Fowlers invited 200 homeless people to enjoy the fancy four-course meal from their daughter’s reception and called it The First Annual Fowler Family Celebration of Love.
In order to make this beautiful event a reality, the Fowlers graciously contacted Elizabeth Omilami from RHOA Porsha Stewart’s Hosea Feed The Hungry, which is an organization that not only feeds the hungry, but raises awareness about the many problems facing families living in poverty.
Tamara and her family even decided to attend the dinner, which inspired them to host another charity dinner next year. What a beautiful way to turn tragedy into triumph!
