Queen Latifah’s New Show

There’s just something so warm and bubbly about Queen Latifah that makes the idea of her being a talk show host, bring a smile to our faces. The Queen has added yet another title to her impressive resume. On Monday, September 16, she will debut her hosting abilities on “The Queen Latifah Show.”

A sneak peek to the first episode was released online, showing Latifah and guest star Will Smith (whose company–Overbrook Entertainment and Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit along with Sony Pictures TV, produced the show–getting down while enjoying a fun “Price Is right”-like game. Latifah made it clear she won’t be talking about her sexuality on the show. The lavish set was designed by Lenny Kravitz.

Even though Diddy and Cassie have yet to confirm their love affair, he has no tolerance for disrespect and according to reports, J Cole violated that during a VMA after party. According to PageSix:

“J. Cole was saying inappropriate things to Sean Combs and his girlfriend, Cassie. Sean immediately pounced. Some pushing and shoving happened. No punches were thrown, but it was a visible disturbance. A few bottles splashed to the floor and some partygoers were knocked over, falling on top of Renee Graziano from ‘Mob Wives.’ ”

Beyonce was said to be near-by the incident and wasn’t having the ratchetness. According to SwaggerNewYork.com, Bey  began “screaming her head off [and] yelling to stop”. Jay Z blocked people from coming too close to Mrs. Carter and managed to separate the fight.

Other outlets have a differing story. Some say a physical altercation actually broke out while others suggest that bottles were thrown.

The casting of Lil Mama as Left Eye, KeKe Palmer as Chilli and Drew Sidora as T-Boz, in the VH1 biopic of TLC, is panning out to be brilliant choices. New visuals from the TV film hit the Internet. The 30-second clip shows the group at the crux of their career and features the famous line “This is how a group can sell 10 million albums and be broke.”

New reports alleged that Odom was doing drugs while he was on the Dallas Mavericks that may have spilled over into his stint on the LA Lakers, reports TMZ. Sources claim Odom was smoking Oxycontin and cocaine.

In 2012, after a stay at The Westin, the carpet in Odom’s room had to be replaced because of rugs burns. Staffers said the room smelled of noxious smoke and found white powder on the desk blotter.

Despite reports that Khloe Kardashian kicked Lamar Odom out of their house for his drug abuse, she is sticking by his side in an attempt to save his life.
